Package it so a first-time user can install it safely.

Every approved item needs one complete path from download to successful test. Start with the universal checklist, then follow the matching item-type steps. If a package leaves the user guessing, it is not ready for the library.

Start with one item you may share

Submit only work you created or have written authority to distribute. Remove client names, pricing, license keys, post-processors, paid libraries, vendor-restricted files, and private shop or machine data.

Save the item and every dependency

For a reusable cabinet/product, save the product as a new item in Product Editor and submit the resulting .moz product file. Copy only the permitted models, textures, profiles, hardware, materials, or tool-group definitions it requires.

Explain it in normal shop language

Describe what the item is, when a shop would use it, how you use it in Mozaik, what it depends on, what users may change, what tooling it needs, what you tested, and anything that can go wrong. MZK Market turns those answers into the standardized install guide.

Send the complete private packet

Add the required screenshots — the built item, plus one for every screen a user has to set up. Upload the .moz file directly, or use a single ZIP when the item has permitted dependencies. It stays private until MZK Market reviews and posts it to the shared library.

The packet

What goes in your ZIP.

One native item file or one clean ZIP, plus screenshots and the setup explanation. The screenshot rule is simple: show the item built, then show every screen you are asking the receiving shop to set up. If they don't have to touch a screen, you don't have to screenshot it.

The item file

The named Mozaik file for your category — for a reusable cabinet/product, the saved .moz file containing the product definition, built parts, shapes, and operations — plus only the permitted dependencies it actually needs. Never a whole Data folder, never someone else's paid content.

Screenshots — one minimum, then one per required setup

Always include one screenshot of the item built, in the 3D view. Then add one screenshot for each screen the receiving shop has to touch to make it work: the Parameters screen if your item has adjustable custom parameters (skip it if there are none), the Libraries > Materials or material template screen if they must create a material for it, and the tooling screen if they must assign or swap a tool. Simple item with nothing to set up? One screenshot is enough.

Your answers, in shop language

The portal upload form asks what the item is, when to use it, what it depends on, what a user may change, what tooling it needs, and what you tested. Answer plainly — MZK Market turns your answers and screenshots into the standardized installation guide on the listing.

Start here every time

One installation checklist for every approved item.

Follow these steps in order before using the category-specific directions. Stop if the MZK Market installation guide does not identify the files, dependencies, or manufacturing effect clearly.

Universal install and test

    Read the MZK Market installation guide attached to the approved listing before moving a file. Confirm the item type, required Mozaik version, included files, dependencies, and whether it is visual-only or can affect parts, cutlists, drilling, or CNC output.

    In Mozaik, open File > Preferences > File Locations. Write down the actual Product Libraries, Insert Libraries, Textures, Images, and Data locations used by this computer. Do not assume every shop uses C:\Mozaik or the same shared-drive path.

    Create a dated backup. A full Mozaik backup does not always include every image and texture folder, so copy the affected folders separately when needed. Close Mozaik and Mozaik Optimizer after the backup finishes.

    Extract the download into a new temporary folder. Check that the files listed in the MZK Market guide are present. Do not run executables or copy the whole ZIP blindly into the Mozaik Data folder.

    Follow the matching item-type instructions below. Install dependencies first, then the main item. Keep supplied names unchanged unless the MZK Market guide explicitly tells you to rename something.

    Reopen Mozaik. If the item does not appear, close it again, confirm the configured file location and folder nesting, and restart. Do not create duplicate copies in several locations.

    Test in a new blank job. Confirm the 3D preview, editable parameters, materials, parts, cutlist, and every operation the item is supposed to create.

    If machining can change, verify the real cutter, diameter, profile, tool number, tool group, depths, feeds, and post mapping for your machine. Simulate and make a sacrificial test cut before production.

Frameless Cabinet

Libraries > Products

    identify the cabinet type in the title and description — for example, Frameless Apron-Sink Base Cabinet — and state the supported width, height, depth, sink opening, construction assumptions, and whether the item is intended for a base, wall, tall, or specialty cabinet.

    save the product as a new .moz item in Product Editor. Include only permitted model, texture, hardware, and tooling dependencies. Do not upload a whole shop Data folder.

Face-Frame Cabinet

Parametric Cabinet / Product

    open the source product in Product Editor, make the part edit, and use Save Changes / To Library > Save as a new product. This preserves the original and creates a new product item.

    save the new product into the original/source library first. Close Mozaik, then copy the resulting .moz file from that library's Products folder. If the product uses a SketchUp model, copy the matching .skp or .skb file too. The .moz file carries the cabinet definition, built parts, part shapes, and operations.

    include screenshots of the finished farmhouse sink, the edited stretcher/cutouts, and the Parameters or dependency screens another shop must use. State the exact Mozaik version and whether the cutouts affect cutlist or CNC output.

    back up the destination library. Copy the .moz file, plus any matching .skp/.skb file, into the destination library's Products folder on the C: drive. Open Mozaik and go to Libraries > Products.

    right-click the destination library root and choose Add > Folder to Root for a new category, or choose Product to Root for a single item. Then right-click inside the destination folder, choose Add > Product, choose Import, and import the pasted .moz file.

    understand that the destination library's current construction parameters are applied when the product is imported. That can intentionally change the result—for example, importing a product into a Closet library can remove cabinet backs because the Closet library parameters control the build.

    place the product in a blank job, change width, height, and depth, inspect the stretcher and cutouts, verify the cutlist and operations, and test the required materials/tools before production.

Insert Library

    record the exact insert library and insert names. Place it in a blank cabinet and capture the finished view — plus the parameter screen if the insert has adjustable parameters.

    close Mozaik and copy only the named insert library file or folder from the configured Insert Libraries location. Include permitted models, textures, hardware, parameters, and drilling dependencies.

    after the universal checklist, place the files in the configured Insert Libraries location, restart Mozaik, then open Libraries > Inserts and use Import to bring in the library or the single insert. Place it in a blank sample cabinet.

    change the cabinet and opening size. Confirm the insert stretches and stays positioned correctly. If it adds parts, boring, or CNC operations, inspect those results and make a physical test cut.

Door / Door Profile

Libraries > Door/Drawer Face Library

    record the door library, door name, door type, and every profile used. Use the Door Libraries menu to export the specific door or library content instead of sending an entire shop Data folder.

    for a routed door, open Mozaik Optimizer > Libraries > CNC Tooling. Record the required Panel Tool Group and each tool it calls. A picture of the profile is not enough.

    identify the cutter manufacturer and part number or exact geometry, measured diameter, tool application, pass depth, profile depth, tool-group order, and which supplied generic tool the receiver must replace with its real tool.

    import the supplied profile/door through the Door Library controls. In Optimizer, import or recreate the Panel Tool Group, then replace every generic tool with the verified real cutter from your own Tool Library and toolset.

    verify tool number/post mapping, depths, direction, corner-cleanup tools, and pocket depth. Run the door Stretch Test at the minimum, typical, and maximum documented sizes.

Hardware Item

    record the hardware library, item name, manufacturer, and part number. Capture the item in the library and installed on a sample cabinet.

    export or copy only that hardware item and its permitted model/texture dependencies. Do not include an entire paid catalog.

    document the insertion point, orientation, offsets, connection rules, supported cabinet/door types, bore pattern, hole diameters, and depths.

    install the item and dependencies into the configured locations, restart Mozaik, place it on a blank sample cabinet, and confirm its orientation and movement in 3D.

    if it creates drilling, compare the operation against the current manufacturer technical sheet, then verify the bit and depth and make a sacrificial test cut.

Texture / Material / Visual Dependency

Libraries > Materials and the configured Textures folder

    state whether the packet contains a texture image, a Mozaik material definition, or both. Capture it applied to a simple panel in 3D.

    copy the exact texture at its original resolution and keep its filename unchanged. Include the material definition only when it may legally be shared.
